This historic Waltham timepiece was originally completed in 1906 in Waltham, Massachusetts, and features one of the company’s proprietary 15-jewel movements, beautifully finished with intricate damaskeening beneath a traditional three-quarter plate. The original hands have been carefully preserved and restored using thermal bluing—a precise, hand-applied technique that enhances both their deep hue and corrosion resistance. The original dial has been replaced with our own proprietary enamel dial—one of the defining trademarks of our conversion work and a key detail that sets our pieces apart from other offerings in the marketplace. Raised Breguet numerals, finished in a brushed metallic tone, provide contrast and dimension, echoing the sheen and texture of the stainless steel case while introducing subtle modernity. Twelve stars mark the hours around the numerals, while a thirteenth, embedded within our signature, serves as a quiet tribute to the original thirteen colonies and the founding ideals of 1776. To enrich the enamel’s surface, we have introduced delicate etching around the subdial and central area—an understated texture that gently disrupts the luster, adding depth and visual interest without overwhelming the design. Housed in a 40 mm surgical-grade 316L stainless steel conversion case, the watch offers an ideal fit for nearly any wrist. With both crown and caseback gaskets, it is water-resistant to 50 meters, though we recommend avoiding prolonged water exposure. Fully serviced and thoughtfully restored, this timepiece bridges over a century of American craftsmanship and is ready to accompany you on your next chapter.
