Celestial Refinement
The Mount Vernon Aventurine is a poetic evolution of our most versatile timepiece, now reimagined in two luminous dial executions. One features a guilloché center framed by a ring of shimmering aventurine quartz, while the other allows aventurine to span the entire dial, its natural aventurescence evoking a night sky scattered with starlight. Brushed Breguet numerals rise above this celestial backdrop with quiet drama, their form both classical and commanding. Applied chapter rings, newly refined with updated minute and seconds markers, complete the composition, balancing elegance, legibility, and depth. Beneath the dial lies a fully hand engraved mechanical movement, executed with traditional tools in the spirit of true Métiers d’Art. Priced to be among the most accessible fine timepieces in the world to feature a genuinely hand engraved caliber, the Mount Vernon Aventurine represents a rare expression of mechanical art and refinement.

A Visual Masterpiece
At 40.5mm in diameter and 11.6mm thick, the Mount Vernon Aventurine offers a refined, modern presence on any wrist. Crafted from polished 316L stainless steel, its case exudes durability and timeless luster. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures clarity, while a sapphire caseback reveals the meticulously finished movement.
The dial of the Mount Vernon Aventurine captures a moment of stillness beneath a starlit sky. In one version, a guilloché center radiates outward before giving way to a ring of aventurine—its surface flickering with hidden light, like a midnight sky brushed with motion. Textures and glitter make this the most visually diverse dial in the Mount Vernon collection. In the other, aventurine spans the entire dial, uninterrupted and infinite, drawing the eye into its depths.
Across both, our brushed, raised Breguet numerals rise like constellations—anchored in classical design, yet glowing with newfound majesty against the shimmering stone. Their presence over the aventurine is quietly dramatic, a study in contrast and restraint, where time is not simply measured but elevated into something celestial.
Encircling the dial, applied chapter rings introduce a final architectural touch, now updated with refined minute markings for added clarity. The seconds subdial features matching indicators—subtle and deliberate, designed to echo the outer ring while adding a layer of precision to the dial’s balance.
This is more than ornament. It is a dial composed in layers of stone, metal, texture, and light - all speaking the same language of elegance and restraint.
Our Promise
At 1776 Atelier, we understand that choosing a timepiece is deeply personal. As collectors ourselves, we appreciate the importance of trust, transparency, and confidence throughout the entire ownership experience.
We work closely with each client before production to confirm the details of their timepiece and ensure that every decision feels considered and personal. Because our watches are produced in very limited quantities and are often made or configured specifically for each owner, we are unable to offer returns once an order has been completed.
Our commitment does not end at delivery. Every timepiece is supported by our two-year warranty, and should a concern arise, we will listen carefully, evaluate the circumstances, and make every reasonable effort to reach a fair and appropriate resolution.
We stand behind every watch we create and remain personally available to support its care, service, and long-term ownership.
